The club was founded in 1996. We have taken part in several tournaments
successfully.
ART CLUB (Ülle
Mägi)
Founded in 1995 for grades 5-9 to learn industrial art. The materials
used are decorations, three-dimensional pictures, printed scarfs etc.
ART CLUB (Aili Jung)
The club is meant for grades 10-12 to learn drawing, painting etc. The
club has organized exhibitions.
ART CLUB (Irena Sink)
This club is meant for elementary school. Several different techniques
are learned. The club has successfully taken part in exhibitions.
RED CROSS (Marianne
Starikova)
Meant for grades 5-12. Students learn and practice giving first aid. We
have successfully taken part in local, all-Estonian and international
competitions.
ECOLOGY CLUB (Inge
Vahter and Mart Mölder)
Meant for grades 10-12. Meetings with well-known scientists take place,
practical sessions, biological and ecological surveys are organised,
students are introduced to the requirements of scientific work,
research work based on personal studies are written.
During last years, over 20 research works have been written, about 10
of them have been recognized in all-Estonian competitions as the best
of the age group. The authors have introduced their works at
international conferences in Germany, Russia and Turkey.
Our students have very successfully taken part in all-Estonian biology
competitions, reaching top 10 and sometimes achieved the very first
place. In the autumn of 1998, a student of grade 10 Ingrid Liiv reached
top 5 at the international competition in Munich.
